My Chicken is Famous

2-16-12  About a month ago I turned in a photo of our "Chicken Nugget" hen (yes, that is her name) to our local newpaper.  I didn't know if or when they would publish it.  I do not get our newpaper sent to us daily, so I never knew if my photo was in there.  I thought "maybe" it would be published and be a tiny picture in the back pages-maybe in the corner.  BUT NO!!!!  It was on the front page, dead center, huge as could be!  There she was, our little hen!  So coooool!  It made my day!
