7-21-10 Just a perfect day on the boat

7-21-10 We are having a date day!

Okay, I suppose I can take lots of pictures without my kids! I just love photos! Yesterday we had a huge storm blow in! It was incredible. I thought for a moment that our Lord was coming, LOL! I was on the phone with my mom and at times she could here the rain through my phone. Olline was up at Schweitzer during the storm and I heard that it scared her a bit! Poor baby! I felt bad for her, but she came home super happy and excited from her day.

Well, I wanted to share a few photos. I took a couple on Jades and mine "alone" day. It was a very wonderful day. Taking a bike ride and boat ride was so much fun. I hope we get to do it again!

Also, here are photos of last nights clouds after the storm. It turned out to be a super beautiful night. The clouds were amazing..and again I thought our Lord was coming...can you see what I mean?

We needed that rain. Our grass, flowers, trees, and gardens all needed that rain! It is suppose to stay up in the 90's for a while now! Ugg...not sure if I like the 90's. We have been so blessed with mild temperatures, so we'll see how we do.

Last night we also picked our first batch of raspberries and strawberries. The raspberries are going to be so plentiful. Not so sure on our strawberries. We usually freeze our raspberries so I can make jam. YUUUMMMMYYY!

So today is my last day without my kids. Melina will be home around 1pm or 2pm. I can't wait to see her. I am looking forwards to hearing all her stories. I hope and pray she had a great time. It is also Ollines last day. She will have a hot dog roast with her camp friends and pool time! So much fun for her. I think she would like to do this everyday!

The Lord blesses us so much everyday. Even when we don't realize it. I thank Him for all He does for us. Even in hard times His light will shine if we look for it. He is there always and will never leave us! Isn't it great that we can rely on Him?

God Bless you all!

I have no kids!

I am sitting here in the quiet...not sure what to do with myself...I can hear my own thoughts! Yes, my children are gone. Both off to summer camps. Melina is off to her Bible camp and Olline is on day two of her day camp. It feels strange...I don't think I will get used to this. I do miss them. I appreciate my alone time though, for I know homeschool will be starting soon and I will absorb this time with all I have.
I have no new photos! I just have no reason to take them. I usually take photos of my kids and now I find I haven't even picked up my little camera. Oh, well...just means I get to go camera crazy when they come home!

Today is a cool summery day. The clouds came over and it feels really nice. There is a nice breeze out there and it seems peaceful. I just thank the Lord for our weather. Hasn't been too hot or too cold. Just perfect!

I wanted to make jam today. I am on my last two small jars of raspberry jam. I think I will make a new batch. Maybe blueberry jam! Our raspberries are just starting to pop and so I will freeze those to make raspberry jam another time. YUM! Our strawberries are slow. Thought we would get a lot more than are showing. However, they are so much better than last year. The plants are beautiful and maybe by next year we will have lots!

Well, my prayers are said for you all. Stand strong for what is right! God Bless.

Family Time is the Best

We do have a great time as a family! We are so blessed and I thank our Lord everyday for our family! What great times we get to share. Whether we are at home or enjoying time outdoors...we are together and for that I am grateful! Praise the Lord! He is our purpose for being...for being here on earth! He is why we have these two wonderful girls! I just pray that He will guide us to raise them how He would have us.
Starting today Melina will be leaving us for a week! She is off to Bible Camp! Scary! She was able to last year as well. We will miss her so much...she is gone for 5 nights! Our prayers will be said every night for her. I pray she will be strong! I hope she has a fantastic time. I always send her off with this verse: Phil 4:13-We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!
Also, our Olline will be attending Schweitzer camp all week. It is not an over night camp (Feewwww!), but it is a big deal to her and she will be gone from 8am to 4pm every day! She is super excited and I am happy for her. Our prayers will be the same for her as well.
Our girls are growing up and discovering new things in this world! We find comfort in that God is always watching and taking care of us!
We hope our families are well today! We miss you and think of you everday. God Bless you all!

A Day At Home

7-13-10 All these photos were taken by my 11 yr. old Melina!!! At 5:30 am!!!

Here are a few pictures to enjoy...Melina was up at 5:30 am and taking photos of the sunrise! I think she has the photo bug!
Also, Olline is enjoying a day with her friend. We picked her friend, Adisyn up this morning, so she could have a play day! I think they are having a blast!
Melina is also playing with her friend Amanda in the neighborhood! It is so strange to have your kids become independent and out discovering themselves!
Jade is home also, fixing up all things around the house! I am grateful to him.
Oh, also the weather is so cool! It is only about 65 degrees! WOW. Yesterday we had a huge wind storm and it blew dust everywhere! So it is nice to have a breezy/cool day! Suppose to warm up again, I believe starting tomorrow!

Have a blessed day. Remember who you are...and why we are here in the first place! PTL!

Here is the 4th of July Family

I am finally getting some photos done so I can share them with all of you! We had a great time with my parents. It was their birthdays!!! Yes, they were both born the the Fourth of JULY! Isn't that wonderful? It is always a treat to have them here for the fourth. We feel like we are getting a huge gift, by having them here! Thank you mom and dad for coming. We appreciate you so much!

We had an adventure this fourth. The weather just wasn't right...it was on the edge of stormy. We ended up going on the boat after a great huge dinner at the Hydra! It was close...but we got to see God's real fireworks (lightening)-on the boat. Scary, and so we flew back to the dock to get home just in time for the huge rains to come pouring down. It was a great evening though. We enjoyed every moment of it! Papa and Jade even did a few fireworks in the RAIN! It was super funny!

Love you all and GOD BLESS!
