Water Dog

7-17-12 About a week and a half ago Bison swam with his life jacket on for the first time! 

We used the life jacket so that we can pull him back up into the boat.  He did so well.  He fetched lots and followed his family out into the lake!  He even dove off the back of the boat and tried to fetch a stick under water (most of his head went under).  Water Dog!

Here is Bison with the girls pretty far out from the shore.  He was so cute and we can't wait to do it again.

Go Bison Go! 

It was a special day with a visit from the other Smith family!  Vince was able to join us for some boating time.  The lake was cool and the weather was perfect.  We are blessed to have these great memories!

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.  And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.  And this hope will not lead to disappointment.  For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
