11-14-12 - Well my youngest daughter and I just finished the second book to Ed Dunlop's series on the Terrestria Chronicles! I have to say it was even better than the first. I just LOVED it and my daughter LOVED it as well. It really will help anyone in their walk with God. It really makes you think of the kind of godly person I want to be. My daughter would come up with the best questions about God because we were reading this book. If you have questions about faith, or God, or just wanting to know more please read this series. This book isn't the Bible nor is it a preachy type book. It is an allegory, characters that represent real life situations. It is set in the medieval times about a young boy that wants to serve his king. He is challenged along the way with giants, tricksters, quick sands, and more. It is a fun, light hearted adventure book that anyone will enjoy. Go to Dunlop Ministries if you are interested in purchasing his books or wanting to learn more! We have just started the 3rd book, The Search for Everyman. So excited. |
I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone just trying to learn about Jesus, curious about Him, or just wanting to read about how wonderful He is. This book is great for kids, maybe at the 4th grade and up reading level. I am reading it with my girl now and I also read it to my oldest along time ago. There is a series of 6 books (I think). I have only read the first book and half of the second. It is a fiction story set in the medival times and it relates to the story of our Lord. It is so fun to read and helps anyone understand the greatness of what our Lord has done for us and is doing now. Please look into this one...you will love it. Dunlop Ministries |
Starting a new book. A Heart for Freedom. I am listening to it on audio book through my Kindle. Never had tried that before. I am loving it so far. I will post my thoughts later when I finish it. A Heart for Freedom |
