Lots Going On
Trying to get caught up on my blogging...I am not doing so well. I want to share so many photos and I just haven't made the time to sit at this computer and do it. When I see our garden growing and flower beds to be tending, I just don't want to be at this computer. Though, I still want to share some things with you; my family. I know these photos probably have been seen already. I just thought I would collage them and do one big set. There have been so many wonderful things going on...From my parents party, celebrating 40 years of marriage and almost 60 years of life. To our annual Lost in the 50's celebration, where all these wonderful cars parade through our streets and the girls dress in their 50's style clothes. We even had peacock visitors in our chicken coop area. Those two peacocks are still roaming the neighborhood and are very loud! We are enjoying our hummingbirds drinking from the feeders. One even got caught in our chicken coop and I was able to grab it in my hands to free it. It was so light and I could feel his tiny heart beat in my hand. I had never felt that before. God sure made wonderful animals! Recently, we have officially finished 3rd and 7th grade! Well, my girls have, but being their teacher I feel like I have climbed Mt. Everest! WOW! What a year. We are so proud of our girls. So blessed with the opportunity of staying home for their education.
We are also testing new waters. The girls will be starting horse riding lessons next week. Yesterday the took a quick lesson and they were so excited. Watching them on that big horse was so cool. Still I am a little cautious...horses are huge animals and it can be a little scary. So we will see how that goes. While we are doing that swimming will be held off. In our gardening adventure (and I will be getting photos of that too) we have planted garlic, onions, lettuce, spinach, carrots, beans, peas, broccoli, potatoes, and tomatoes. Plus I have some herbs growing. Lots of hard work, especially for my husband, but so much fun and worth every moment. Oh and I am attempting, ATTEMPTING, on making my first quilt. That's all I am going to say about that.
May God bless you today. May you walk in His name. Remember who you are. God loves you so much.
