Here are our new chicks. We got 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Gold Sex Links, and 2 Black Sex Links. The sex links are a hybrid. They are doing well so far. The girls are super excited. Here are a few photos of our new chicks.

Birthdays and Swimming

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. We have had a great one. Yesterday, the girls and I went back to Spokane to another swim meet. It was a one day event and so much fun. Very busy and crazy. However, the girls did well and they had so much fun! I will post a few photos of the event tomorrow.

4-13-11 Cortez caught a small vole (can you see the small gray lump below him in the grass?) and he is guarding it. He never killed it, just played with it. Crazy wild cat!

Olline's 8th Birthday

Here are just a few pictures taken on Olline's 8th birthday on 4-4-11. We had a great day with my parents. Girls loved being with their Meme and Papa.

Papa and his girls, after playing a great game of Easter Egg Hunting! Papa started it last year and it was one thing Olline asked for to do on her birthday! So Papa hid treats and money in the eggs and the girls search and search for them! It was great!

Olline just got her ears pierced! Can you see her pretty diamond earring?

She was so brave and sat so still. You could see that she was scared and super nervous, but she was strong and BRAVE! I was surprised she did it. She impressed us all. It was so wonderful to have Meme and Papa here. They made the girls birthdays perfect!

Melina's 12th Birthday

Here is our sweet Melina enjoying her birthday! On 4-3-11 she turned 12 and we are so thankful for her! I am so glad God brought her into our lives. She is so full of life, love and spunkiness. She keeps us on our toes and loves us so deeply! She is our blessing.

I am going through all my hundreds of photos and trying to get them organized to post a few. Yesterday the girls and I headed up to Schweitzer to be with dad and celebrate the season ending!
